Argosy University's College of Counseling, Psychology and Social Sciences offers programs for those interested in mental health professions. While some of our programs are designed to prepare you to sit for licensure examinations* to potentially become a licensed psychologist, counselor or therapist, others will train you to work in fields that utilize principles of psychology, such as corrections, addiction treatment, or sports and fitness. Our focus is to produce effective practitioners who apply the fundamentals of sound health science and clinical research. Along with professional expertise, personal growth is essential to the training and development of mental health professionals. Our College of Education programs are designed to train P-12 educators seeking to make a greater contribution to their students’ academic success. Our many programs will expose you to the educational best practices employed by scholar-practitioners in the field. Upon graduation, you will emerge with the knowledge and range of skills necessary to perform effectively in administrative positions at a variety of schools and post-secondary institutions.

Only campuses in Arizona, California, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Minnesota, Texas, and Utah offer programs that lead to teacher, administrator, or school psychologist certification, licensure, or endorsement in any State in the United States. With the exception of the MAEd in Educational Administration (in a limited number of states), the programs, offered through Argosy University, Online Programs DO NOT lead to teacher or administrator certification, licensure, or endorsement in any State in the United States, regardless of the State in which the student resides.
